Leeds United: Jayden Bogle’s contract examined amid mixed Premier League campaign
Leeds United continue to stand by Jayden Bogle after an up-and-down season.
The Englishman signed for the Whites last campaign and certainly came with mixed reviews after his spell at Sheffield United.
Any negativity from Bramall Lane has quickly been forgotten as his performances throughout the Championship campaign were excellent.
That continued into the early stages of the Premier League as the LS11 outfit dragged themselves away from the relegation battle.
Bogle’s form has been mixed for Leeds as the season has gone on, much like results under Daniel Farke, as MOT Leeds News now assesses what we know about his contract.

What is Jayden Bogle’s contract situation at Leeds United?
There were fears when Farke brought in the full-back that his defensive ability might represent a concern at Elland Road.
The Englishman hasn’t always been the most highly rated, but that opinion has certainly changed for many in Yorkshire.
| Year(s) | Club | Appearances |
| 2024- | Leeds United | 77 |
| 2020-24 | Sheffield United | 103 |
| 2017-20 | Derby County | 90 |
He has largely been a guaranteed starter for the Whites, even after the change in formation to three centre-backs and wing-backs.
Bogle’s form has certainly been patchy at times, but with his contract running until 2028, it makes sense for Farke to back him as a starter.

That is echoed by his reported £30,000 salary at Elland Road, a fee which equates to a yearly wage in the region of £1.5million.
Bogle hasn’t been at his best for Leeds recently, but it looks as if he is going to receive backing from the Whites no matter what.
Could Leeds replace Bogle in the summer?
If the Yorkshire outfit are to avoid relegation, there may be a need to refresh the squad ready to go again in the Premier League.
Right-back may be one spot that could be improved, just as left-back was when Gabriel Gudmundsson came in over the summer.
Bogle may have concerns about his future as a first-team regular, as his £30,000 wages could be seen as more suited to a squad player in the top flight.

There are certainly questions to be asked of who Leeds could bring in to replace the Englishman and whether that would be money well spent.
He just needs to focus on his own game and prove why Farke needs to back him rather than dipping into the transfer market.
