Leeds United could potentially cash in on Jack Harrison after his loan move to Fiorentina.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the English forward is yet to convince Fiorentina to trigger the buy option in the deal, but the situation could change in the upcoming matches.

The news outlet reports on 21 April that while a £6.9million move for the Englishman in Florence looks uncertain, it may be on the agenda if the winger can continue his heroics.

As things stand, the 29-year-old’s future isn’t a priority for Fiorentina sporting director Fabio Paratici at the moment, but the attacker would love to stay with the Serie A side.

Harrison left Elland Road on loan in the winter transfer window and it remains to be seen whether the Italian club will make the deal permanent in the summer.

Jack Harrison to force Leeds United exit

Harrison is finally coming into his own at Fiorentina and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them change their mind about permanently signing him.

After just one assist in his first nine Serie A appearances, the winger has now had a goal contribution in three consecutive league matches.

The Englishman finally opened his goal tally for La Viola after scoring in the 1-1 draw against relegation rivals Lecce on 20 April.

With the Florence club now close to securing their survival in the Italian top flight, it wouldn’t be out of the question for them to spend a decent amount on a player who has played a pivotal role for them in recent matches.

Fiorentina to sign another Elland Road star

Fiorentina have been linked with Wilfried Gnonto in recent months and the Italian could potentially be on his way to Florence in the upcoming transfer window.

After starring for Leeds in the promotion-winning campaign, the winger has found game time hard to come by in the Premier League.

It’s clear that Daniel Farke trusts other options in the forward line and it would make sense for the 22-year-old to look for pastures new sooner rather than later.

Gnonto and Harrison could be playing together at La Viola next season and their situations will surely be worth watching closely.
