Leeds United interest in Femi Azeez shows Dan James transfer decision has already been made
Leeds United are among several Premier League clubs watching Millwall winger Femi Azeez.
Daniel Farke’s side are fighting for their top-flight status but are hovering just three points above the relegation zone heading into the tail end of the season.
However, despite not yet knowing their fate, they are pushing ahead with their transfer plans ahead of the summer window, and a new forward is seemingly on the agenda.
This could well spell the end of Dan James’ time at Elland Road.

Femi Azeez could be Dan James replacement
James’ situation highlights Leeds’ dismal summer business, after he was awarded a new contract despite his obvious struggles to make the step up to the Premier League.
The Wales international has not recorded a single goal contribution in his 16 appearances to date this season, so it is little wonder the Whites are eyeing up replacements.
According to TEAMtalk, the Whites have sent scouts to watch Azeez in recent weeks, although they will face competition from Crystal Palace, Everton and Fulham among others.
Azeez, 24, has been one of the standout forwards in the Championship this campaign, scoring eight goals and registering seven assists in 25 matches.
His flexibility allows him to play across the width of the frontline, while his dribbling ability and end product would make him an invaluable addition to any Premier League side.

While Palace are said to be showing the most concrete interest in the former Reading man, Leeds certainly remain in the race, and staying in the top-flight will boost their sales pitch.
James has no feature at Leeds
What is clear at this stage is that James should be moved on as soon as possible.
His difficulties at Elland Road were on show for all to see during the 3-0 victory against Norwich City in the FA Cup last time out, when he was hooked after 70 minutes.

As per Sofascore, James created just one chance against the Championship side, while taking just 22 touches and losing possession 11 times.
He also made just one defensive contribution, took zero shots on goal and completed none of his two attempted dribbles in a showing that edged him closer to the exit door.
But after he was given a bumper new contract in a costly misstep last July, Leeds may struggle to get rid of him, especially if they demand a premium fee.
It will all depend on what happens in these final nine games of the season, it seems.
