Leeds United target Harry Wilson is reportedly keen to explore his options, especially because of the uncertainty surrounding Marco Silva’s future at Fulham.

The right-winger is a free agent this summer, as he looks “destined” to leave the Cottagers, with Leeds, Aston Villa, Everton, and other clubs in Europe interested.

One report last month suggested the 29-year-old was most likely headed for Aston Villa, and while no reports have denied this or backed it up, nothing has advanced.

Daniel Farke wants to make additions to the Whites’ forward line, and none would come better than the Fulham star, who has had a standout campaign this season.

Leeds know they have competition to sign Wilson, but their rivals may now only be against Premier League clubs for his signature.

A host of teams in Europe are interested in the winger, but the financial package on offer from the Premier League is said to be too much to compete with, as discussions are ongoing over his future.

It’s up to the 49ers on how much they want to pay Wilson, but also the player, who may want Champions League football with Aston Villa.

Leeds better outfit to join for long-term

Leeds are objectively in a better position right now for long-term success than Aston Villa, as mad as that sounds.

Unai Emery’s side have faced financial constrictions for years, despite being in the Champions League or Europa League almost every season.

The Villans will most likely have to sell star player Morgan Rogers this summer to ease PSR concerns, and with the way Leeds are going, they could be a more sustainable club in the long-term, which will only bring more success.

However, Wilson is 29, and he may believe that his next move is his last chance of playing at the highest stage, especially while he is in his prime.
