Leeds United already have Wilfried Gnonto replacement as Largie Ramazani ready for Premier League

Leeds United could potentially replace Wilfried Gnonto with Largie Ramazani for the 2026-27 season.

The Italian forward has struggled for game time under Daniel Farke this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him leave in the summer.

As for the 25-year-old Belgian ace who joined Valencia on a season-long loan from the Whites last summer, he’s proving himself in LaLiga.

Ramazani’s future at Elland Road will be one to keep a close eye on in the coming months, with the winger arguably ready to make an impact in the Premier League.

Largie Ramazani season in numbers away from Leeds United

Ramazani is slowly becoming a key player for Carlos Corberan at Valencia, having started the last six league games.

In LaLiga this season, the forward has made 18 appearances, scoring five goals, providing one assist, missing two big chances and creating two big opportunities, as per Sofascore.

The Belgian ace has recorded a passing accuracy of 78 per cent and completed 0.8 dribbles per game with a success rate of 42 per cent.

In the 2-0 win over Sevilla on 21 March, the winger scored for Valencia, had three shots on target, missed one big chance, completed four progressive carries, completed 79 per cent of his passes and had three defensive contributions.

Farke now wants Ramazani back at Elland Road ahead of next season, with plans to utilise him more if the West Yorkshire outfit survive Premier League relegation.

Wilfried Gnonto future written on the wall at Elland Road

Fiorentina wanted to sign Gnonto in the winter transfer window, and it would make sense for Leeds to cash in on him in the summer.

The 22-year-old has been a bit-part player under Farke this season, starting four league games and playing a total of 391 minutes in the English top flight, as per Sofascore.

With opportunities arguably even more challenging to come by under Farke if Ramazani returns, it feels like the Italian winger’s future lies elsewhere.

Gnonto has failed to have an impact in the Premier League this season and it may be time for him to find pastures new.
