Largie Ramazani ‘earns trust’ of Carlos Corberan in remarkable revival for Leeds United loanee
Largie Ramazani seems to have changed his fortunes away from Leeds United, and is now thriving while out on loan with Valencia.
The winger was loaned out to the La Liga side this summer after it was made clear he had no space in Daniel Farke’s plans this season.
The Belgian got off to a rough start back in Spain, but like his Valencia boss Carlos Corberan, he seems to have come out of a sticky patch on the right end.
Leeds signed Ramazani for around £10million in 2024, and the Whites will be delighted to see his progression with a summer exit still speculated.

What does Carlos Corberan think about Largie Ramazani?
Ramazani is focused on Valencia right now and has consistently told the Spanish media that he will only think about his future at the end of the campaign.
It wasn’t always plain sailing for the 25-year-old at Valencia, but his recent form has him as one of Corberan’s main men in attack.
| Game | Result | Minutes played | Ramazani output |
| Valencia vs Deportivo Alves | 3-2 win | 82′ | N/A |
| Valencia vs Osasuna | 1-0 Win | 89′ | 1 goal |
| Villarreal vs Valencia | 2-1 loss | 90′ | 1 goal |
| Levante vs Valencia | 2-0 Win | 88′ | 1 goal |
According to Inside Futbol, Ramazani has “earned the trust” of former Elland Road man Corberan.
The former Leeds assistant coach feels that Ramazani offers him directness and he “is taking that into account when giving him minutes”.

He now seems to be a regular starter in Spain, which brings up more speculation of whether Leeds could make a profit on the winger this summer, or if he can compete for a spot in Farke’s squad.
Details on Ramazani’s situation at Leeds
Valencia loaned Ramazani out on a season-long loan with no buy option included. That doesn’t mean he can’t rejoin the Spanish side in the future, but negotiations and agreements would need to be met first.
Transfermarkt have the winger value at around £5.2m, a £4.8m loss, bonuses included, on what the Whites paid for him, but the trajectory of his form could see this double by the end of the campaign.

If Leeds were to get relegated, it would be interesting to see if he would stay at Elland Road in another fight for promotion, and the same goes if the Whites managed to stay up.
What is certain, though, is that Almeria would take 15 per cent of anything Leeds made from the forward’s potential sale, which makes the 49ers have a difficult decision to make this summer, especially from a financial standpoint.
