Largie Ramazani could yet have Leeds United future as agreement with Valencia far off

Largie Ramazani is wanted permanently by his loan side, Valencia, but Leeds United appear to have their minimum expectations.

The Whites are said to want a figure in the region of £10.3million to offset the Belgian’s sale, but latest developments may suggest he could have time left at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke didn’t give the winger many chances last season, and despite his reputable Manchester United background, fans didn’t see the best of him.

According to Leeds Live, the Whites and Valencia are at odds over the 25-year-old’s future, and that could hint that Farke wants to give him another chance.

However, Leeds are set for negotiations over Ramazani’s fate with the Spanish side, which could resolve what happens very soon.

Would Largie Ramazani be able to make an impact at Leeds?

Former Leeds figure Carlos Corberan is desperate to sign Ramazani permanently at Valencia, but knows that it won’t be a cheap move to secure his signature beyond this season.

The left-winger has been particularly impressive since the turn of the year, and is starting to look like a player who could make an impact in the Premier League.

Farke already has Noah Okafor and Brenden Aaronson, who can play in pockets on the left side of the final third, with Wilfried Gnonto also another option.

However, Gnonto has been unable to look consistently threatening in the top-flight, and if he were sold this summer, a replacement would be needed.

Ramazani would be an easy option for Leeds, and they could still raise funds at the same time through the sale of Gnonto.

Whether or not the loanee would be able to finally adapt to life in England, and at the top level, is another question.

It’s important to note that while Leeds could be mulling over the choice of keeping the winger, they could equally be deciding on whether another straight loan is viable to increase his market value even further.

How much would Leeds lose or make from Ramazani sale?

Leeds bought Ramazani from Almeria in 2024, and the attacker went on to make 31 appearances for the Whites last season, tallying nine goal involvements in all competitions.

The overall price that the 49ers forked out on the Man United youth graduate was in the region of £10m, which looks to be something they want to recoup and more for his sale.

Given his is a man in demand with form not an issue, it would be a surprise to see the 49ers rollover and take a loss.

Whether Valencia have £10m to spend on the forward is unknown, especially considering they have been a side trying to stay in La Liga this campaign.
