Jhon Solis: How bizarre Leeds United target performed for Birmingham City in FA Cup clash
Jhon Solis has already shown Leeds United what he can do this season.
The Colombian has surprisingly been linked with a move to Elland Road ahead of the summer while on loan at Birmingham City.
That comes after around four months at St Andrew’s after sealing a loan agreement with Girona during the January transfer window.
He has impressed in the second tier so far, and that has already prompted transfer interest away from the Midlands.
Solis has now emerged as a target for Leeds after Daniel Farke got a good look at the 21-year-old in the FA Cup earlier this campaign.

Jhon Solis started vs Leeds United in the FA Cup
The Whites are ready for a semi-final clash with Chelsea after reaching Wembley with wins over Derby County, Birmingham City, Norwich City and West Ham.
Arguably, the Yorkshire outfit’s toughest test came against Chris Davies’ side as they required penalties to get through.

Lucas Perri’s heroics ultimately sealed Leeds’ place in the next round as Sean Longstaff scored the winning spot kick.
That came despite the hosts having the better of possession with 55 per cent, and ultimately were unlucky not to secure the win within the 90 minutes.
Unfortunately for them, that made Leeds’ victory all the more enjoyable and sparked celebrations in front of the away end at St Andrew’s
Farke and Co joined in, but the German may have had one eye on a potential new transfer target after performance at St Andrew’s.
Solis was excellent for Birmingham City vs Leeds
The Colombian started at the base of midfield in the FA Cup clash and featured across 114 minutes of action in Small Heath.
He isn’t an attacking threat, but he proved himself to be a true destroyer at the base of midfield, while also keeping things ticking.
The midfielder clocked up 70 touches and maintained a 90 per cent pass accuracy throughout a lengthy showcase at St Andrew’s.

Solis contributed nine defensive actions, including six tackles, and 10 duel wins, showcasing his effectiveness as a destructive force.
That may be enough to tempt Leeds in before the summer, as a deal may shortly be done with the 21-year-old to bring him to Elland Road.
