Jermaine Beckford shares why Largie Ramazani is still destined for success at Leeds United
Jermaine Beckford is convinced that Largie Ramazani can come back stronger at Leeds United.
Ramazani featured sporadically last season in the Championship promotion-winning season, as Daniel Farke did not fully trust him.
He was loaned to Valencia in the summer, and he has impressed in his time with the La Liga outfit so far, away from Elland Road.
Leeds have a decision to make on Ramazani’s future when he returns to LS11 at the end of the season, and Beckford believes he may remain with the Whites

What did Beckford say about Leeds loanee Ramazani?
Beckford has claimed that supporters should expect to see a totally different player from the version of Ramazani who struggled to get into Farke’s side.
He believes that Ramazani has learned how to utilise his pace while with the Spanish side and that could benefit the Peacocks.
Speaking to Yorkshire Post on 8 March, he said: “He’s got that explosive pace, and he’s a wide player as well, full-backs hate that. It’s the one thing you can’t defend against. He just needs to learn how to use it and when to use it and that’s what he’s doing out in Valencia.
“The way he’s moving, the goals he’s scoring, the confidence he’s playing with, he understands it. When he does come back to Leeds United, he’ll be a different player to the one we saw on loan initially.”
How has Ramazani performed on loan with Valencia?
Beckford is right, Ramazani has been in brilliant form for the Black and Whites in his time back in Spain.
He has played 15 times in the league, with only three starts, and he has notched four goals and one assist in that time, per Sofascore.
Ramazani is scoring at a rate of one every 121 minutes in the Spanish top-flight at the moment, and if he can keep that up, he will finish with a decent goal contributions ratio at the end of the campaign.
The on-loan Whites star is averaging 0.5 shots on target per game and 0.4 key passes per game, which is not bad by any means.
Perhaps all he needs is another chance to star for the Whites, it will be interesting to see what happens when he returns to Yorkshire in the summer, and Farke has to make a decision.
He will have to consider the impact of his loan, and he may well be surprised by the leap that the 25-year-old has taken in his time with the Spaniards.
He could end up being a key part of the German’s team next season, if he can impress in pre-season when he returns and show what he has learnt when he has been away.
