Jack Harrison will return to Leeds United after Fabio Paratici transfer snub
Jack Harrison hasn’t convinced Fiorentina to sign him permanently from Leeds United in the upcoming transfer window.
Fabio Paratici, the Serie A club’s sporting director, doesn’t seem keen on triggering the £6million buy option for the forward, according to Corriere dello Sport.
It has been reported in the news outlet on 30 March that La Viola won’t be singing the 29-year-old at the end of the season unless “there’s a sudden change in direction”.
The Whites sent the English winger to Italy in January and it looks like he will be back at Elland Road at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
Daniel Farke hasn’t relied on Harrison much at the West Yorkshire outfit, but it remains to be seen whether he will be a part of the German manager’s plans going forward.

What does future hold for Jack Harrison at Leeds United?
Harrison’s future at Leeds could potentially depend on where they find themselves at the end of the season.
The Whites are just four points above the relegation zone in the Premier League and the threat of going down to the Championship is realistic.
| Statistics | Jack Harrison |
| Appearances | 8 |
| Starts | 4 |
| Minutes per game | 58 |
| Goals | 0 |
| Assists | 1 |
| Big chances created | 0 |
| Successful dribbles per game | 0.8 (35%) |
| Possession lost per game | 10.8 |
If the West Yorkshire outfit manage to survive the drop, 49ers Enterprises will surely be expected to add more quality to their squad in the summer.
That would leave Harrison arguably staring down a black hole regarding his potential minutes at Elland Road.
There’s also a scenario where the Peacocks do go get relegated and may be forced to sell some of their key players, which could possibly leave the door open for the Englishman to be a part of their promotion push next season.
Elland Road uncertainty not good for summer transfer plans
Leeds must ensure Premier League survival if they hope to make further progress in the upcoming campaign.

Going back to the Championship will surely hurt the 49ers’ ambitions of establishing the Whites in the top flight and could potentially see a mass exodus of the top stars from Elland Road, with the likes of Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk, Ethan Ampadu, Anton Stach and Dominic Calvert-Lewin clearly worthy of playing in the Premier League.
While the recruitment department will want to get to work as soon as possible to identify potential summer targets, they can’t do so properly unless the West Yorkshire outfit’s future is certain.
Harrison’s future hangs in the balance, just like the Peacocks.
