Jack Harrison exit call all set at Leeds United as whole of Italy in agreement
Jack Harrison looks destined to return to Leeds United with his tail between his legs after another dismal performance on loan at Fiorentina.
Harrison moved to the Serie A side last summer on a deal running until the end of the season, which included a permanent option worth around £6million.
He was allowed to move on from Elland Road after Daniel Farke opted against including him in his first-team plans, and the winger is currently stuck in limbo.
But following his current club’s uninspired goalless draw with Parma on Sunday, his hopes of leaving Leeds permanently already look to be all but over.

Jack Harrison lambasted by Italian press
Reports had suggested Fiorentina’s latest match was “make or break” for Harrison, but judging from the universally poor reviews in Italy, he comfortably failed his audition.
The 29-year-old was handed a start and played 81 minutes, despite an error-strewn performance that drew loud jeers from Viola supporters when he touched the ball.
Damningly, local publication Firenze Viola described his display as being marred by “inaccuracies, especially in crossing, and poor technical decisions.”
Reviews from other outlets were just as bad. Indeed, he was not awarded above a 5/10 rating by any of Italy’s biggest newspapers – a resounding humiliation.

A nightmare outing was capped off when he was booed off after being substituted, leaving his fading hopes of staying in Florence for good in tatters.

It is hardly the ideal scenario for Farke and the Leeds hierarchy, and they will now have to start coming to terms with Harrison returning in the summer.
Does Harrison have a future at Leeds?
Harrison has not become a bad player overnight, but his career has lost direction.
However, while Fiorentina haven’t provided the fresh start he would have hoped for, there will be no shortage of potential suitors this summer.
He has been linked with a return to Major League Soccer, having first plied his trade at New York City before moving to Manchester City, and Leeds will likely accept a cut-price fee.
His contract is set to run down in June 2028, but a switch away from Elland Road over the coming months looks almost certain, regardless of his nightmare in Italy.
