Leeds United: New training top may have just been revealed early, it’s nearly as good as away kit

Leeds United fans have been loving the new away kit that has seemingly leaked online this week.

After the overwhelming success of recent Adidas kits, the Whites have moved to the famous trefoil logo on their strips for the upcoming season.

That is only possible for elite-level clubs under Adidas’ branding, and a new yellow strip with an old badge attached has taken the internet by storm.

The Yorkshire Rose badge was officially introduced back in 1984, before slight changes in the following years, but it appears to be back.

Leeds have revealed that a new kit will seemingly be announced on Thursday morning, but that’s not all that may be happening.

Another online leak may have been shared, with the fanfare behind both set to lead to considerable profits for Leeds and the 49ers.

Another Leeds United kit leak may have appeared

Peter Lockwood, or Stix as he’s known, is synonymous with Leeds over the years.

A lifelong fan and ambassador with over 60 years of service at Elland Road, players, staff and fans all recognise him in LS11.

Currently Vice President of the Leeds United Supporters’ Club, Lockwood has shared images from a recent holiday on Instagram.

Fans noticed that Stix was wearing what looked like a new training shirt, with a blue and yellow design, a white Red Bull logo, and the Adidas trefoil.

Leeds fans absolutely loved it.

But, when quizzed in the comments, Lockwood admitted several times that it was just a gift from friends.

Of course, he may have just recognised an error and tried to cover his steps, given the specifics that appear to match the upcoming away kit coming out.

Leeds United take official kits to the next level

Leeds fans are loving both shirts right now, and it would be a real coincidence if they were to match so well, yet not actually be official further down the line.

With club revenues really coming into play with the new squad cost regulations, the 49ers and those in the boardroom will be loving the online reaction already.

Game-changing transfers are wanted after surviving in the Premier League, and this is certainly one way to help with that.

Just looking at recent years, the first yellow kit to return, last season’s blue number and several unforgettable training shirts all just prove that Leeds are doing it better than most right now.
