Pascal Struijk conversations to be had at Leeds United after Burnley display
Pascal Struijk could be one who is replaced at Leeds United this summer.
With safety all but achieved and a mid-table finish in sight, there is little to be negative or pessimistic about at Leeds as of right now.
However, the minor issues will still be looked at at Elland Road ahead of the summer transfer window as the Whites look to build on what has been a successful campaign.
Adding more quality to the squad will be on the agenda, with Daniel Farke unlikely to turn his nose up at the chance to improve any area of his squad should the opportunity emerge.
And replacing Struijk may be on the cards, with his latest performance showing why.

Leeds United win but Pascal Struijk concerns present
Struijk has generally had a solid campaign, but there have been games where his fratrilies have been exposed, and the clash with Burnley was one of them.
Not only should he have done better to prevent the Clarets’ consolation goal, but there were several areas of his game where he has underperformed, and it has happened fairly consistently.
| vs Burnley | Struijk |
| Pass accuracy | 84% |
| Long ball accuracy | 0% |
| Ground duel win rate | 17% |
| Aerial duel win rate | 50% |
| Dribbled past | 3 |
As usual, his passing was on point, with the Dutchman having completed 58 of his 69 attempted passes, but that was the only positive behind his performance.
Struijk was dribbled past on three occasions, while also having committed two fouls.

He won just 17 per cent of his six ground duels, while also losing half of them in the air.
All five of his attempted long balls failed to reach a teammate, which led to a lot of unnecessary pressure, albeit with it having amounted to nothing.
Struijk could fall on his feet if Leeds exit occurs
As mentioned above, Struijk is very consistent with his passing ability, but not so much when it comes to defending.
For a team like Leeds, who are expected to be under pressure more often than not, that can cause a lot of issues.
But for a team that dominates possession, he may actually be the perfect type of profile.
Tottenham have been linked with Struijk in the past, showcasing that interest is there, and if he were to leave Leeds in the future, it would not be a surprise to see him move up the ladder.
