Noah Okafor second to Harry Kane for metric that demonstrates potential Leeds United fear
Noah Okafor’s goalscoring form for Leeds United has him among the best in Europe.
While not yet secured mathematically, Leeds are as good as safe in the Premier League after their 3-1 victory at home to Burnley on Friday night.
Goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Okafor made sure of the victory, with the latter having brushed off minor injury doubts to make the clash at Elland Road.
And by doing so, he played yet another crucial role for Leeds, which has been the case for several weeks now.
But not only is it earning Okafor his plaudits in the Premier League, his recent run in front of goal actually has him going toe to toe with Harry Kane.

Harry Kane is the only attacker in better form than Noah Okafor
And that seems like a wild statement, but it is very true.
Since the start of February, Okafor has averaged a goal for Leeds every 68 minutes, which is the second-best ratio in Europe’s top five leagues.
| vs Burnley | Okafor |
| Minutes | 82 |
| Goals | 1 |
| xG | 0.77 |
| Pass accuracy | 90% |
| Successful dribbles | 2 |
He has four goals in his last four Premier League games, and six since the start of February, while also having had a hand with two assists.
Kane is the only player who boasts a better ratio, with a goal every 49 minutes in the same time frame at Bayern Munich.
Okafor’s form is a big reason behind Leeds’ pending safety, but it could also be the cause of potential exit fears.
Leeds may have to fear for Okafor exit
And that is the sad nature of being a club outside of the big six.
When one player shines, other teams around Europe usually come calling, and that will almost certainly be the case with Okafor.
Despite an injury-hit campaign, the Swiss forward has nine goal involvements in the Premier League, having only started 19 times for the Whites.
That level of form is quite remarkable, in all honesty, and while there will undoubtedly be some interest in him, Leeds will do whatever they can to keep him at Elland Road.
