Leeds vs Chelsea tickets: LUFC Trust rages over latest Wembley update – ‘Inexcusable, Absolute madness’

Leeds United fans will be desperate to get their hands on tickets for their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, but an update over hospitality prices has left LUFC Trust fuming.

The Whites are in their first semi-final of England’s most prestigious cup competition since 1987.

It is an experience that supporters will not want to miss out on, as these chances do not often come about.

However, with Leeds holding a large fanbase, not everyone will be able to get a ticket through the club’s ticket office.

Due to this, fans have sought out alternative ways to head to Leeds’s clash with Chelsea, with enquiries about the hospitality packages at Wembley enraging supporters with the prices.

Why LUFC Trust is fuming with Wembley hospitality prices

Hospitality prices are always going to be more extortionate than your regular matchday ticket, with the packages offering more than just admission.

However, Leeds fans who are willing to fork out the fee to attend the FA Cup semi-final have been left bemused with two different prices on offer for both FA Cup ties at Wembley.

The Taphouse Social package at Wembley provides fans with seats in the middle tier of the stadium, but if you are a Leeds or Chelsea fan, you will have to pay more than Man City or Southampton supporters.

If you are attending Leeds’ tie, you will have to pay £695; meanwhile, the other semi-final fixture would set you back ‘just’ £250.

This has come from fans emailing and requesting quotes about the various hospitality sections Wembley has to offer.

The reveal, which has now emerged online, has left the Leeds United Supporters Trust enraged.

Taking to X, LUFC Trust replied to the information stating: “Absolute madness – inexcusable.” Additionally, they tagged the Football Supporters’ Trust and Chelsea Supporters’ Trust to bring it to their attention.

FA should be ashamed amid Leeds and Chelsea ticket fiasco

The differing prices for the same experience for the same level of match with the same stakes on the line are frankly ridiculous.

Football fans are once again the brunt of greed from the FA. If tickets were priced £695 for both matches, then the FA may have a leg to stand on, but this is a clear example of price gouging.

There will be plenty of demand for tickets for the game against Chelsea, with Leeds set to receive 32,000 tickets for the tie.

Now, an opportunity to take advantage of fans has been seen.

Football would be nothing without supporters, and now there may be plenty of Leeds fans unable to attend due to tickets being increased by 2.8 times compared to Man City versus Southampton.
