Leeds United are desperate for all three points when they host Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday.

Leeds have lost back-to-back top-flight matches at Elland Road, with both Sunderland and Man City travelling to LS11 and leaving with three points.

However, Sunday’s 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace saw Daniel Farke’s side secure a valuable point, as they were reduced to 10 men for the majority of the match.

But it doesn’t get much easier for them when they take on Keith Andrews’ Brentford, who sit seventh in the league and most recently drew 2-2 with Wolves on Monday.

Brentford are exceeding expectations this season, and it’s safe to say that they are in a brilliant position to secure European football.

Leeds must be wary of Igor Thiago, who has 19 goals for the Bees and recently received his first call-up to the Brazil squad.

With Dango Outtara and Kevin Schade out wide, they possess a lot of threat on the counter-attack, but Leeds should be a different proposition at Elland Road.

Under the lights, they could have too much for Brentford, and despite their contrasting seasons, this seems like the perfect game for Farke’s side to secure a win against the odds.

While it might be optimistic, the Whites could run out 3-1 winners, which would be a massive boost to their survival hopes.
