Leeds United: Three seasonal statistics that defined the Premier League 2025-2026 campaign
Leeds United steered safely away from relegation in the end, with survival well secured before the final weeks of the season.
Many fans may have been surprised by that outcome based on the form shown from the Whites from August to November.
However, Daniel Farke has ultimately done a tremendous job, and another season in the top flight has been secured.
Heading into next season, the German will be looking for more of the same, with perhaps eyes on pushing even further up the table.
Now, looking back on Leeds’ season, here are three statistics that perfectly sum up the Peacocks’ campaign.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goalscoring streak saves Daniel Farke’s job
Much has been said about Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s impressive season for Leeds, with the striker netting 14 goals throughout the campaign.
And perhaps Calvert-Lewin should have been going to the World Cup with England.
However, his best run of form arrived at the end of November and throughout December. From matchweek 13 to matchweek 18, he netted seven goals, which saw Leeds also go on a five-game unbeaten streak.
| Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goalscoring run | Opponent | Goals scored | Result |
| Matchweek 13 | Man City | 1 | 3-2 loss |
| Matchweek 14 | Chelsea | 1 | 3-1 win |
| Matchweek 15 | Liverpool | 1 | 3-3 draw |
| Matchweek 16 | Brentford | 1 | 1-1 draw |
| Matchweek 17 | Crystal Palace | 2 | 4-1 win |
| Matchweek 18 | Sunderland | 1 | 1-1 draw |
It was a timely run of form for the striker, with manager Farke under intense pressure with talks of him being dismissed.
Calvert-Lewin’s streak and moment versus Sunderland meant he became the first player to achieve such a run since the 1960s. The last Leeds player to score in six consecutive top-flight appearances was John McCole in 1959-60.

Leeds United show their fight in 3-1 win vs Chelsea
Leeds’ win against Chelsea at Elland Road was perhaps one of their more famous victories over the Premier League season.
However, it was the manner in which they won that stood out most.
The Whites had just 28.6 per cent possession and were under the cosh for a majority of the 90 minutes. However, they dug deep and defended valiantly.
In fact, the Whites had never had less of the ball in a league victory since a win over Reading in the Championship in December 2016, where they had just 23.2 per cent.
That win against the Stamford Bridge side showed in full that this Leeds squad had the fight required to stay in the Premier League.
It also kept Farke’s 100 per cent record against Enzo Maresca.

Leeds United end 24-year wait for Premier League win vs Manchester United
One moment fans will not forget this season is the famous win against rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
For many Leeds supporters, they may not have been around the last time the Whites picked up the bragging rights against the Red Devils.
The 2-1 win was the first time Leeds had beaten Manchester United in the top flight since September 2002, which saw a 1-0 win.
However, it was also their first win way from home since February 1981 (1-0). The three points on that day more or less confirmed the Whites’ survival in the Premier League.
That win put Farke’s side six points above Tottenham, with just six matches to go.
