Leeds United: Slow end to final three games expected as Daniel Farke points-per-game record emerges
Leeds United can expect a slow conclusion to the Premier League season, with Daniel Farke’s record against their final opponents offering a dim outlook.
The Whites are in a fantastic position to remain a Premier League club, with them potentially securing their status without even kicking a ball themselves.
That was the goal that was set at the beginning of the campaign, and the German has passed it with flying colours.
Luckily, results over the last few weeks have left the Whites not needing much from their final matches.
And with Leeds’ fixtures being quite tough based on Farke’s history, that is welcomed news.

How many points are Leeds expected to get based on Daniel Farke’s record?
Leeds’ final three games this season will come up against Tottenham, Brighton and West Ham United, and unfortunately, the Whites are looking to have a limp end to the campaign.
Based on previous games Farke has managed against those three sides, Leeds will end the season with less than one point per game, as his total stands at 2.75 combined.
| Daniel Farke’s points-per-game vs final three opponents | PPG total |
| Tottenham | 1.00 |
| Brighton | 0.25 |
| West Ham | 1.50 |
If the Whites were to follow that same path, they would, with some rounding up, end the season on a 46 points total.
Among their last five seasons in the Premier League, this would be their third highest in the top flight, falling one behind their 2002-2003 tally of 47 and 13 behind their 2020-2021 points of 59.
The Premier League has become far more competitive since then, and in truth the Whites may only fall a few points short of a top half.
It goes to show the work that Farke has done throughout the season and despite the record not looking too kind for the Elland Road outfit, survival at the start of the season was the goal, and Leeds need just three points, or West Ham to drop points to ensure it.
Funnily, Leeds could qualify for the Champions League still but have to overcome this record to do so.

What does Leeds’ reverse fixture results say about their final points tally?
When it comes to results from earlier in the season, the Whites pretty much follow the same trajectory. Farke managed just three points from a possible nine, losing 3-0 to Brighton and 2-1 to Tottenham.
Those three points were picked up against West Ham in a 2-1 win.
At the end of the day, the LS11 outfit only needs a maximum of three points, and if that is how the season finishes for the Peacocks, then it will not be too harshly judged.
Leeds would remain as a Premier League club, and truthfully that is what matters most.
