Leeds United fans will take to Pat Nevin as Premier League survival prediction made
Leeds United may want to embrace Pat Nevin as the former Everton star seems to think that Daniel Farke‘s side may have enough to stay in the Premier League.
The Whites’ number one aim for the season was to stay in the top-flight, and they don’t care how they do it.
Farke believes that only a couple more points are needed to secure their safety, as Tottenham’s loss to Sunderland this Sunday keeps them occupying the final relegation spot on 30 points.
Leeds have had a dip in form, and supporters may need some outside encouragement to keep believing in their players.
However, Nevin seems to have confidence in Farke that his players can scrape out another couple of results to ensure their Premier League status.

Pat Nevin thinks Leeds aren’t going down as Tottenham given silent treatment
Leeds face Manchester United this Monday in their return to league action, where Farke will be hoping that momentum is carried on from their FA Cup quarter-final win against West Ham last time out.
The Whites have a trip to Wembley to face Chelsea lined up, but they’ll know that ensuring league safety is just as important, if not more.

While speaking on the BBC‘s Match of the Day, Nevin shared his thoughts on why Leeds will stay down, much to the current underperformance of Tottenham.
Nevin said: “I’ve been to see Leeds and thought, ‘They’re not a team that’s going down’. I’ve been to West Ham recently, and they don’t look like a team going down. And I’ve been to see Forest, and they don’t look like a team going down.
“I am going to be quite silent about Tottenham because, since the turn of the year, that is what they have looked like. I’m not saying they’re going down, but [Roberto] De Zerbi has got some job to do.”

By all means, the Man United fixture will be difficult, but there are some winnable games at Elland Road coming up for Farke’s men.
Leeds cannot fall into Tottenham’s trap
It’s easy to get carried away with Tottenham right now, as the Lilywhites lost their first game under Roberto De Zerbi this Sunday.
However, there’s no reason why things can’t change at the speed of lightning, especially in football, as De Zerbi may need some extra training sessions to get his points across.

Leeds cannot become naive with Spurs, with the latter an obvious talking point because of the sheet quality they have on their side, which makes it even more worrying if they do pick up a win soon.
Leeds have enough in the tank to get wins over the likes of Burnley, Wolves, and Brighton with seven games left, but failure to do so may come back to haunt them.
