Leeds United: Daniel Farke has fresh headache as players return after international setbacks
Leeds United have seen most of their players suffer heartbreak with their national sides during their international break.
Daniel Farke will surely have another headache at Elland Road, with the likes of Karl Darlow, Ethan Ampadu, Daniel James, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Joel Piroe returning after apparent setbacks.
Wales and Suriname were knocked out of the World Cup play-offs, while the former Everton striker has been let go by England after his display against Uruguay.
There are some key players who will undoubtedly be low on confidence ahead of the West Yorkshire outfit’s return to action against West Ham United in the FA Cup quarter-final on 5 April.
Farke has a Premier League relegation scrap to deal with and it doesn’t help that the Peacocks’ international contingent undoubtedly won’t be in good spirits after what’s happened.

Daniel Farke to have Dominic Calvert-Lewin worry at Leeds United
Calvert-Lewin played his first minutes for England at Wembley since featuring in Euro 2020.
Tuchel brought the centre-forward on for the final 34 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Uruguay, with the 29-year-old taking two shots, with one on target, and missing one big chance, as per Sofascore.

The striker wasn’t involved in the game much, managing to complete just two of his four passes, taking eight touches and losing possession twice.
Calvert-Lewin’s purple patch at Elland Road was arguably one of the reasons for the Whites’ uptick in form earlier this season, but he hasn’t scored in his last five Premier League appearances.
Fans in LS11 know that the Englishman’s goals will certainly be influential if the West Yorkshire outfit hope to avoid relegation and his abject display for England should be concerning.
Elland Road may have found one shining light during international break
Daniel James was sensational for Wales against Bosnia and Herzegovina, catching out the goalkeeper with a long-range effort.
While Craig Bellamy’s team eventually lost on penalties, the forward’s form will undoubtedly give Farke some encouragement.
The 28-year-old has been a bit-part player for Leeds this season, partly due to persistent fitness issues, but it looks like he’s back to his best.
James could potentially be the game-changer the West Yorkshire outfit need in the final seven Premier League games to secure their top-flight status.
