Leeds United can do the funniest thing ever as Jason Cundy ‘disgusted’ at Chelsea

Leeds United have the chance to pile yet more misery on historic rivals Chelsea in this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final showdown at Wembley.

Daniel Farke‘s side are flying right now ahead of their midweek trip to Bournemouth in the Premier League, whereas Chelsea reached a new low with Tuesday’s 3-0 loss at Brighton.

The Blues have lost five Premier League games in a row, with the pressure building more and more on manager Liam Rosenior.

Rosenior even called out some of his players with Chelsea on their worst run of form in some 114 years, which has also sparked outrage from their fanbase.

Leeds can now add insult to injury against Chelsea when the sides face off at Wembley in four days’ time.

Jason Cundy lets rip at terrible Chelsea

Former Chelsea player and now superfan Jason Cundy has made no secret of his dislike of Leeds, with this a rivalry dating back decades.

Cundy regularly laughs at Leeds’ results, albeit he has not been able to do much of that of late, even more so with Chelsea in a massive rut.

And speaking live on talkSPORT fresh on the back of Chelsea’s 3-0 loss at Brighton on Tuesday, Cundy was furious at what he saw.

“We’ve got Leeds at the weekend, and I’m telling you now, we are not winning that game,” he said. “We are getting dumped out of the FA Cup.

“I don’t know where the next victory is going to come from, and I don’t know where the next shot on target is going to come from. I am absolutely disgusted.”

Chelsea fans’ misery is Leeds fans’ joy, and the Whites’ fanbase would love nothing more than to now eliminate a broken Chelsea from the FA Cup.

Before that, of course, is a trip to Bournemouth in the Premier League, with Farke likely to rotate his side somewhat.

Leeds have already shown they have Chelsea’s number

It is hard to know exactly who are favourites heading into this match, which would have sounded bizarre when the draw was first made.

Thanks to Leeds’ impressive form and Chelsea’s plight, it is the Whites who have momentum on their side ahead of the trek to Wembley.

And Farke’s side also got the better of Chelsea across their two Premier League outings this campaign, having won 3-1 at Elland Road in December and then drawn 2-2 at Stamford Bridge in February.

That said, Chelsea are Chelsea. As fun as it has been to see them struggle badly, their status must still be respected.

Farke first needs to get this Bournemouth game out the way, then all focus can turn to making Cundy’s face even redder than it was following the loss to Brighton.
