Leeds United: Anton Stach only second to Bruno Fernandes as Premier League chance creation stat revealed
Leeds United‘s Anton Stach is in second behind Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes for most chances created in the Premier League this season.
It probably won’t come as much of a surprise to Leeds fans, who know just how good the German has been all season for them.
The Whites picked him up in the summer for around £17million, and he has been arguably the best addition the 49ers made.
The midfielder can do both sides of the game extremely well, as he’s also emerging as one of the best set-piece takers in the land, too.
Stach’s creativity is unmatched at Leeds, but the stat highlights just how important he is to Daniel Farke in this team.

What elite group is Anton Stach in for chances created?
Leeds are still in a relegation battle, and supporters wouldn’t want to find out where abouts they’d be had they never signed Stach.
The 27-year-old loves to get Elland Road on its feet, and his high work ethic makes him an even more loved figure in LS11.
| Area | Stat |
| Matches (started) | 26 (25) |
| Team of the week | 3 |
| Assists | 3 |
| Key passes per game | 2.2 |
| Big chances created | 9 |
Stach only has three assists in the league so far, but having created nine big chances, he’s probably been robbed of a few more to his name.
As highlighted by OptaJoe on X, Fernandes is the clear runaway leader for chances created, but behind him is Stach.
The Leeds man is joint-second alongside Declan Rice and Dominic Szoboszlai with 58. However, he is just one of seven players who have managed to create more than 50 chances this season.
The Leeds star is ahead of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka (52), Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez (51), and Liverpool’s £100m plus summer signing, Florian Wirtz (50).
Fun fact you may not know about Stach’s Germany call-up
Stach was called up to the Germany national team for the first time since 2022 last week, with his nation set to play games against Switzerland and Ghana.
Interestingly enough, after developments on Monday, he will now face off against his Leeds team-mate Noah Okafor this Friday, after the latter received an emergency call-up due to injury.

The pair could be playing against each other on the same pitch on Friday, 27 March, but thankfully, not much is on the line.
Here’s to hoping the Leeds duo do well and don’t end up injuring one another.
