When will Leeds return for pre-season training?
The date for the pre-season training return differs each year, but it tends to sit in the same two-week period.
With the World Cup taking place between mid June and mid July, multiple Leeds players may not be immediately available, though it is likely that the squad will reunite during the late stages of June.
With this in mind, Farke, his squad and fans alike will be looking forward to a tour of the USA, where Leeds will play out multiple friendlies.
| Leeds’ USA tour | Date | Venue |
| Leeds vs Wrexham | 25/07/26 | Raymond James Stadium, Tampa |
| Leeds vs Sunderland | 30/07/26 | Sports Illustrated Stadium, New Jersey |
| Leeds vs Liverpool | 02/08/26 | Soldier Field, Chicago |
The trip will begin in late July, as the first visit to the US in almost 30 years.
Following the culmination of this, Leeds will head to Dublin once again, where they faced off against AC Milan last year.
This time, the West Yorkshire outfit will go head-to-head with rivals Manchester United – a match that is likely to draw a fantastic crowd.
When will the 2026-27 season start for Leeds?
As confirmed back in November, the Premier League will once again kick off in late August, with the opening round scheduled for the weekend of 22 August.
At the end of the season, the final round will be played on 30 May 2027, with the league pushed back a week to allow 89 clear days from the end of the 2025-26 term, and 33 days from the World Cup.
33 weekends and five midweek match rounds will make up the calendar, with fixtures to be announced at 10 am on Friday, 19 June.

After settling back into Premier League life seamlessly, the Whites are looking to continue building and climb the standings.
With a delayed start, Leeds have a significant amount of time to get their house in order and build a squad capable of competing once again next term.
With the Championship set to begin on Friday, 8 August, fans at Elland Road will be pleased to consider that they will be commencing their season three weeks later – the reward of a stunning campaign.
