Jamie O’Hara agrees as Sky Sports presenter questions on-air Leeds United graphic
Jamie O’Hara was in agreement that Leeds United should not even be talked about as a Premier League relegation candidate right now.
Back-to-back wins over Manchester United and Wolves, followed by a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, has Leeds six points clear of the drop zone.
While the Whites can technically still be caught over the remaining four fixtures, a point may well be all it takes to get Daniel Farke‘s men over the line.
Leeds can do just that when they face relegated Burnley at Elland Road on Friday night, followed by games with Tottenham, Brighton and then West Ham.
O’Hara has now given his updated opinion on the relegation state of play ahead of Leeds’ run-in.

Leeds fans to question Sky Sports graphic
Leeds are big favourites to beat Burnley at Elland Road on Friday, which would allow Farke to fully concentrate on next season already.
Should the Whites fall to an unlikely defeat, it would still require West Ham and Tottenham winning their games this weekend to put any sort of pressure on.
| Leeds vs Burnley prediction | Likelihood |
| Leeds win | 62.4% |
| Draw | 19.9% |
| Burnley win | 17.7% |
Sky Sports News showed a graphic of Leeds’ remaining fixtures, along with West Ham’s, Tottenham’s and Nottingham Forest’s.
As soon as that graphic flashed up, the presenter was quick to point out: “Leeds fans might be going, ‘hold on, what we doing on this list?’ But mathematically, you’re not safe yet.”
O’Hara agreed with that sentiment as he added: “Yeah, I don’t think Leeds are in it. They’re over the hill. They’ve got Burnley at home and will win that comfortably.”
What is interesting is that, while Leeds were included – which is fair enough – Newcastle United were not.
If you are going to include the teams that could technically still be relegated, then why not mention an out-of-sorts Newcastle side who are only two points ahead of Leeds?

Newcastle have Forest and West Ham to face in two of their remaining four matches, so if they lose those they could be in real trouble.
When can Leeds mathematically confirm Premier League safety?
Leeds had a weekend off from Premier League duty last weekend due to their FA Cup semi-final participation.
Wins for Tottenham and West Ham were not ideal, but the gap on 18th place is still at a more-than-healthy six points.
Leeds are expected to put three more points on the board on Friday night against Burnley, although that alone still would not quite be enough to make certain of safety.
However, should Tottenham lose to Aston Villa late on Sunday evening – combined with that Leeds win – that will be that.
