Erling Haaland has made his feelings known after Leeds United secured a much-needed victory against Manchester United on Monday.

The Whites travelled to Old Trafford knowing that they hadn’t won a league encounter there for 45 years.

A frustrating record that stretched back to 1981 has now been forgotten after a Noah Okafor brace made all the difference at the Theatre of Dreams.

The hosts still had their chances after Lisandro Martinez was controversially sent off for the Red Devils, but Daniel Farke‘s men saw out the three points.

Leeds secured a special 2-1 win against Man United, sparking a wild reaction in the away end and from Haaland on social media.

It was certainly a nervous watch for the Yorkshire outfit in the latter stages after Casemiro made it 2-1 with over 20 minutes to go.

Michael Carrick’s side had their fair share of chances throughout, but were unable to take them, unlike Farke’s men.

The result has sent Leeds six points clear of the relegation zone, with Tottenham now occupying 18th spot in the table.

That may prove to be enough to keep the Elland Road club in the Premier League for another season, something that is only made sweeter by winning at Old Trafford.

That is especially the case for Leeds fan and Manchester City sensation Haaland, who was quick to share a post to Snapchat at full-time.

He shared an image of Okafor on his TV with the caption, “get in”, as he shared his love for the Whites once again.

Haaland has regularly shown love for Leeds, and fans will certainly enjoy this latest example, especially when poking fun at the Red Devils.

The 25-year-old is one of the best players in the world and has been simply sensational ever since stepping through the doors at the Etihad Stadium.

He has scored 157 goals in less than four years for the Citizens after taking to English football like a duck to water.

Playing in the Premier League has also allowed him to be closer to Leeds and has seen him join in with chants and show his love on social media regularly.

He recently celebrated after Man City won the Carabao Cup by telling fans he’s Leeds “til we die” and has followed that up by reacting on social media.

It is great to see one of the biggest stars of the footballing world, Haaland, being so passionate about the Whites, especially at Manchester United’s expense.
