Dominic Calvert-Lewin out to end miserable record vs Tottenham with Leeds revenge on the cards

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be looking to seal his second win against Tottenham since 2020 when Leeds United travel to North London.

This weekend promises to be an important one for the Whites, who are increasingly likely to see their Premier League status confirmed for another campaign.

West Ham face Arsenal on Saturday, and if the Hammers fail to avoid defeat, Leeds will have their survival made official before they even take to the pitch against Tottenham.

However, that will not deter the Whites from exacting revenge on Spurs, who relegated Leeds a few years ago with a 4-1 defeat.

Nor will it deter Calvert-Lewin from rectifying his record against Tottenham on Monday night.

What is Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s record vs Tottenham?

It’s fair to say that the former Toffees star has not had the best of times against the North Londoners throughout his career, having won just three of the 14 encounters he has featured in.

Calvert-Lewin has suffered nine defeats against Tottenham throughout his career, while also having scored just three goals.

The last time he was on the winning side was back in 2025, when Everton secured a 3-2 victory at Goodison Park.

That game saw him score his second-ever Premier League goal against Spurs, with his first coming all the way back in 2020, when the Toffees won 1-0 away from home.

Calvert-Lewin will be looking for only his fourth career win against Tottenham on Monday night, which could force them back into the relegation zone depending on West Ham’s result against Arsenal prior.

Daniel Farke can move one step closer to matching Marcelo Bielsa record

Goals have very much been like London buses for Leeds this season.

In some games, they have struggled to find the back of the net, but when they have, the floodgates have opened.

The Whites have scored three or more goals in eight different games this season, which is the most since Marcelo Bielsa‘s side back in the 2020-21 season.

Leeds managed it 10 times in that campaign, having scored a total of 62 goals.

While it may be unlikely that they match the total number of goals scored this season, there is a chance that the Whites could repeat that record ahead of the final three games of the campaign.
