Daniel Farke deems Noah Okafor ready in Leeds United team news update vs Brentford
Daniel Farke claims that Noah Okafor is available for selection ahead of Leeds United‘s clash against Brentford this Saturday.
Leeds host the Bees at Elland Road this weekend, in another important Premier League showdown.
Okafor has been injured since the FA Cup win over Birmingham City, and was on a hot streak of three goal contributions in as many games before being struck with a hamstring issue.
The winger has made 26 appearances this season since arriving from AC Milan in the summer, and is undoubtedly a key player for the Whites.
Leeds have had multiple injuries to deal with this season, but their luck seems to be changing with Okafor back.

Daniel Farke says everyone is available for Brentford, including Noah Okafor
Okafor has performed well for Leeds since arriving in the summer, and his absence has been a miss in the final third.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the Leeds boss confirmed he has everyone available for selection, including his Swiss star.
Farke said, as quoted by Leeds Live: “Okafor is back in team training since the beginning of the week. Everyone is available.”

It doesn’t necessarily mean the forward will be thrust back into the starting eleven, but it does give the Whites another strong option from the bench.
With Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both still fit, the two-up-top striker formation remains something Okafor will have to work his way into.
Leeds have good reason to take confidence from these stats last time out vs Brentford
The Whites grabbed a point at the Gtech Community Stadium when the two sides faced each other in the reverse fixture back in December, as Calvert-Lewin’s late goal forced a 1-1 draw.
But, Leeds probably came away knowing fine well that they could have been bringing three points back to Elland Road instead of the one, as they dominated in the second 45.
| Stats | Brentford | Leeds United |
| Shots | 4 | 14 |
| xG | 0.40 | 1.00 |
| Big chances | 1 | 1 |
| Corners | 0 | 2 |
As seen in the table above, Leeds were unlucky to only get one in their second half against the Bees last time, and also had the majority of the ball with 54 per cent possession.
The Whites created over double the amount of xG that the home side did, and came close to scoring a late winner through Ethan Ampadu’s effort from range.
Given the game is taking place at Elland Road this time, it would be no surprise to see Farke’s team grab all three points with the Leeds faithful roaring them on to victory.
