Joe Gelhardt adds new string to his bow at Hull City, Leeds United must reconsider his future
Joe Gelhardt continues to catch the eye away from Leeds United this season.
The 23-year-old departed Elland Road on loan in the summer as he joined Hull City for the second time in as many seasons.
He has gone on to prove himself as one of the best attackers in the entire Championship with his 12 goals and five assists.
The Tigers are now well in the hunt to land a play-off place and certainly have the Leeds loanee to thank for his individual quality in front of goal.
Gelhardt’s future at Leeds remains a question, but after his strike away to Wrexham on Tuesday, Daniel Farke and Co. need to rethink.

Joe Gelhardt nets stunner in Hull City win vs Wrexham
Hull currently sit fifth in the Championship and faced off against Phil Parkinson’s side, who are just one place behind them in the top six battle.
The clash away to SToK Cae Ras was a big one, and it was Sergej Jakirovic’s side who secured all three points on the night.
Gelhardt found the net in a 2-1 win alongside Liverpool loanee Lewis Koumas to cancel out Nathan Broadhead’s late effort.
It’s fair to say that the Leeds loanee caught the eye with his goal, as he curled a superb free kick into the top corner past Arthur Okonkwo.
That in itself should make Leeds sit up and take notice of what sort of player they have on their hands right now.
He did miss a penalty on the night, but his free kick certainly cancels that out as it ultimately helped Hull on the way to victory.
He is consistently proving just how good he is, so Leeds could have a howler if they sell Gelhardt before giving him a chance in the Premier League.
Leeds United could improve with Gelhardt
There have been plenty of top performers at Elland Road this season, with Brenden Aaronson being one to prove many people wrong.
The American has been a useful asset alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but with four goals this season, there may be better options out there.

Gelhardt could prove to be exactly that, and he has proven game after game this campaign that he knows where the back of the net is.
Ironically, Leeds fans would be excited if they were linked with signing a versatile attacker with 17 goal involvements in 31 games.
Luckily for the Whites, they already have exactly that right under their noses and need to wake up to that fact before risking a massive mistake.
