Chris Kamara feels for Leeds United and Brentford fans in travel ‘nightmare’ after draw
Chris Kamara has shared his sympathy for Leeds United and Brentford fans after their Premier League showdown late on Saturday night.
The Premier League once again forgot about the fans with an 8pm kick-off at Elland Road, making travel a logistical nightmare again.
Making matters worse, Leeds and Brentford put on an absolute snoozefest, which ended 0-0 in LS11, with zero real chances springing to mind immediately.
The travel plans were so bad that Kamara actually bumped into several Brentford and Leeds fans on trains home on his way to Wembley on Sunday for the Carabao Cup final.
Leeds fans will hope for better when they travel to West Ham in the FA Cup at the start of April.

Premier League forget about fans, again
This has become a real issue in the Premier League, with its broadcasting taking priority over simple fan welfare in recent seasons.
Leeds have been victims of that several times too, and although the travel is further for most Brentford fans, they have been hit again here.

Kamara shared their pain with the fixture changes, writing on X, revealing that fans simply told him that it is a nightmare for them.
“Just on the train to the Carabao Cup Final,” he wrote. “Hopefully it’s going to be a cracker
“Train is full of Brentford fans going home and Leeds fans who live down south.
“I feel their pain. Telling me that Saturday night, 8 pm kickoffs are a nightmare for them.”
What is next for Leeds United?
With two away games coming up for those travelling Leeds fans, they will hope for as little disruption as possible along the way.
After the international break, the Whites take on West Ham at the London Stadium, with a Sunday afternoon kick-off pencilled down in the FA Cup.
Win there and Leeds will book a Wembley semi-final, and another trip down to London later in April.

With Sky involved, that has changed to Monday evening with another late 8 pm kick-off, meaning travel home after the game could be as hard as ever.
