Daniel Farke’s Premier League career in numbers as ex-Norwich boss comes under Leeds pressure

Daniel Farke’s position as Leeds manager is already under scrutiny.

Leeds’ defeat at Fulham means that they have picked up four points from four games so far this season.

Farke is already under pressure to deliver some wins, starting this weekend in a potential relegation six-pointer.

Leeds travel to Molineux to face Wolves with Farke looking for his first away points of the season.

A poor result on Saturday could result in the German facing even more questions over his future at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke’s Norwich record should worry Leeds fans

Farke has been in charge of Leeds since 2023 and secured promotion to the Premier League last campaign.

His position came under scrutiny during the season, with rumours of his sacking, even though he was successful in gaining promotion.

Farke’s Premier League record has been called into question, and the numbers behind it make for startling reading for Leeds fans.

While in charge of Norwich, the German had a dismal record in the top flight, recording just six wins and eight draws from 49 matches.

He was also in charge for the Canaries’ record defeat in the Premier League, losing 7-1 to Chelsea in 2021.

Leeds fans are right to question Farke’s ability to manage at the highest level and whether he is the right man for this campaign.

Daniel Farke was lucky to survive the summer

Leeds’ owners were contemplating getting rid of Farke in the summer before the season even began.

The 49ers considered replacing the German and could be regretting their decision already.

Farke has already proven that he struggles in the Premier League, and there is no evidence that it will be different at Elland Road.

If the owners wanted to give Leeds the best chance of staying up, they should have brought in somebody with pedigree in the top flight.
