Leeds United forward Rodrigo has delivered an Instagram message addressing his injury after limping off against Leicester City.

The only negatives from the Whites 3-1 win at the King Power Stadium were both Rodrigo and Raphinha limping off with new injuries.

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that the Spaniard was undergoing a scan on Monday afternoon, with the forward very likely to miss the game against Everton on Wednesday.

Writing on his personal Instagram account, Rodrigo confirmed it was a "minor" setback, and that he is already one day closer to his return.

"Great result yesterday against a very tough team," he wrote.

"A minor setback personally but already working to be back soon. One day less to come back."

Based on this reaction, it appears as though the scan could have delivered positive news for both Leeds and Rodrigo.

The Spanish international made sure to share that it was a "minor" setback and nothing major, but with games coming thick and fast, he could miss numerous outings.

It is nearly a certainty that he will miss the Everton game.

The Whites welcome the Toffees to Elland Road on Wednesday, and this is now a massive opportunity for either Tyler Roberts or Pablo Hernandez.

Roberts started for the under-23s on Monday against Sunderland, with Hernandez nowhere to be seen - that could be the first hint that the veteran is set for his first Premier League start in months.
