Daniel Farke will have his fingers crossed after Largie Ramazani suffered an injury as Leeds United beat Watford 2-1 on Tuesday (23 October).

The Belgian is just the next player heading through the doors of Leeds' medical room, joining Ilia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu and Max Wober, while Dan James and Manor Solomon have only just returned.

It seems to be a rotating door at Elland Road, with Patrick Bamford also spending time on the treatment table, so Farke cannot afford to have another player unavailable ahead of the trip to Ashton Gate.

Speaking after the Watford win, Farke told LeedsLive [22 October]: "Twisted his ankle. Have to wait and see. Deserve some luck."

If Leeds are relying on "some luck", confidence that Ramazani might be fit to face Bristol City on Saturday 26 October could be at an all-time low for the Whites.

Some injuries are quite difficult to judge. Farke was relieved that Wilfried Gnonto avoided a "serious injury" before playing the Hornets, having landed awkwardly on his shoulder, but he looked in fine form.

An ankle problem could be far more serious than Gnonto's shoulder, and while speculating over an injury is never useful amongst a fanbase, everyone at Elland Road will be crossing their fingers until an update emerges.

Luckily for Farke, both James and Solomon have returned to the squad following their respective injuries so it is almost the best timing for an injury to occur, but it is absolutely not good news for Leeds.

With three goals and one assist in his first eight appearances, Ramazani looks to only be getting started at Elland Road, so a setback now would be a huge blow.
