Leeds United: Official documents posted to Companies House from Elland Road
Leeds United have posted their official accounts for the year ending June 2023 to Companies House with the documents now being processed.
The latest documents will recount the club’s spending for the year in which they were relegated from the Premier League with Andrea Radrizzani in his position as owner.
Pressure has been applied to Championship clubs over their financial concerns in recent weeks after Leicester were charged with breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.
Leeds United release financial accounts amid Leicester concern
Plenty has changed at Elland Road in the previous financial year, which will be heard next season, but given the state of the club under Radrizzani’s leadership, the newly-released documents will come with a sense of intrigue and perhaps some concern.
While new owners 49ers Enterprises have handled their business brilliantly since arriving in the summer, their takeover came after the period covered by these documents, and the financial impact of the takeover will not be seen until next year.
Given the situation at Leicester, with the club reportedly facing a possible points deduction if they are promoted to the Premier League this season, Leeds will be hoping they have managed to stay within the boundaries of what they can do.

Promotion back to the Premier League this season is of paramount importance for Leeds and their finances given the lucrative package that comes along with it, and going into the final stretch, they will hope they can make it.
