Leeds United fan shares ‘ridiculous’ private message from Andrea Radrizzani straight after 4-1 loss v Bournemouth

Andrea Radrizzani has responded to a Leeds United fan and admitted that he has got the appointment of Javi Gracia wrong after their 4-1 loss to Bournemouth.

The Whites were plunged further into relegation trouble after another battering on Sunday (30 April), just one point above the relegation zone with four games remaining and two of the teams below them playing each other on Monday.

And journalist Conor McGilligan has now added to tensions at Elland Road by releasing an image of private messages exchanged with the owner during the game, where he admits he has got things wrong.

“I am broken,” he wrote.

“I am responsible for this ****. Unacceptable. You don’t deserve this. Ridiculous.”

McGilligan also posted a video of the messages being screen recorded to prove their authenticity, and is followed by Radrizzani on Twitter.

Awful

This club just goes from worse to worse right now and things are getting more and more embarrassing no matter where we look.

On the pitch the team is an absolute joke right now, conceding 23 goals in the month of April, only four less than Newcastle have conceded all season.

But off the pitch nobody seems to know what is going on anymore either, with Radrizzani wanting out but not able to cash out until our Premier League status is confirmed one way or another.

Shockingly he’s responding to fans mid-game and admitting that he’s got these things wrong, but will he correct it? Probably not.

Even if he did, it’s surely too late now. We’re relying on other teams to do us a favour and save us. We survived by the skin of our teeth last season. We have to pray for the same this time around too.

In other Leeds news, Robbie Savage has urged the club to sign a new striker.
