Marcelo Bielsa was spotted going onto the pitch after Leeds United picked up another three points against Reading to shake the hand of Kiko Casilla.

The Spaniard has come under scrutiny both on and off the pitch recently, making avoidable mistakes whilst also being in the middle of an FA hearing for his racism charge.

That hasn't been settled yet, so Casilla lined up once again in the 1-0 victory over the Royals, keeping consecutive clean sheets for the first time since the beginning of December.

Casilla didn't have much to do but made a vital save in the final minutes of the clash. Liam Moore had turned Liam Cooper and only had the keeper to beat before the 33-year-old made a cracking save to hand his side the three points.

Bielsa isn't usually known for public signs of affection towards his players, he hardly even goes on to the pitch after any game, so to see him embrace Casilla shows he still has the utmost faith in the stopper.

Interestingly the video, posted on Twitter claims that the keeper was nursing a hand injury in the second half. That is still unknown, but if true it makes his last-gasp save even more impressive.

After all of the mistakes, it was crucial for Kiko himself and the team that he made that save. You could see the gratitude towards him after the win over Bristol City the week before, but Bielsa even acknowledged him this week.

There will be an outcome on his FA hearing at the beginning of the week, so it could well be that Illan Meslier is given the chance to impress - starting with Middlesbrough on Wednesday.
