Harry Gray is every Leeds United fan as loan star spotted at Wembley ahead of Chelsea showdown

Harry Gray has been pictured at Wembley in a Leeds United shirt ahead of the FA Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea this Sunday.

The Thorp Arch gem has spent the second half of the season at Rotherham United, and hopes to be returning to LS11 ready to play a part in pre-season.

It goes without saying that the 17-year-old is highly rated at Elland Road, and if he can follow in his brother’s footsteps, the Gray dynasty will continue to thrive.

Regardless, the teenager has been pictured outside of Wembley Stadium ahead of the Whites’ FA Cup game against Chelsea before kick-off.

Gray is a big Leeds fan, and his dream of playing and being an important star for the Whites one day may soon come true.

Gray has had a mixed loan spell with Rotherham, but his boss Lee Clark continues to show faith in him.

There were some worries that the Thorp Arch starlet would be sidelined for the rest of the season not long ago after picking up an injury, but he is now back to full fitness.

He only played for the Millers this Saturday, starring for 90 minutes in his side’s 1-1 draw against Reading.

Rotherham’s relegation from League One was confirmed a few weeks ago, but most of their fans would admit that Gray has been a good signing for them.

As seen in the image above, Gray is Leeds through and through, as he looks set to cheer on the boys to what will hopefully be a big win that sends the Whites to an FA Cup final against Manchester City./t

Let’s have a look at Gray’s stats for Rotherham in full

Regardless of how Gray’s loan panned out for Rotherham, him staying fit and getting game time was always going to be the most important thing.

At his age, playing minutes and adapting to the men’s game is crucial, and there was never going to be pressure on him to excel in League One right away.

Gray has lost the majority of his duels in League One, whether that be on the ground or in the air, but this was always going to be expected.

It will take time for the striker to bulk up and get used to the physicality of the game, but he’s already shown his attacking nouse in glimpses.

Stats are not the be-all and end-all, but the truth is, he was never going to get loads of chances playing for a side that was destined for relegation.

But then again, Rotherham was probably his best option for minutes, which will help him in the long run.
