'Staggering' - Ben Parker reveals 'definite weakness' for Leeds to expose v QPR

Leeds United will be desperate to pick up three points against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

The Whites have only won once in their last six Championship games and the gap to the chasing pack in the play-offs is quickly closing.

Marcelo Bielsa will know his defence is becoming a problem – a concern that may be shared by Mark Warburton ahead of Saturday’s clash.

Ben Parker has singled out the home side’s defence as their standout weakness, claiming the home support isn’t happy with that at this moment in time at Loftus Road.

“The definite weakness is definitely at the back,” he said on LUTV.

“51 goals conceded so far this season, which is a staggering amount and they concede all different types of goals.

“I know the QPR fans aren’t happy in terms of how they are conceding at the moment from set-pieces, but it seems to be a lot of individual errors as well.”

Leeds must not put all their hopes on a fragile defence given their own concerns. The Whites have conceded 13 goals in their last six – three more than in their previous 21.

There may be bigger problems in London though. Queens Park Rangers have the second-best attack in the Championship – but still have a negative goal difference because of their defensive record, which is the second-worst in the division.

Watching the Hoops against Brentford last time out, the home side tore them apart by playing quick football – something Leeds will certainly look to exploit this weekend.
