Sky pundit shares what is top of Harris' 'list' ahead of Leeds clash

Given Cardiff City’s position and recent form in the Championship, many will believe that Saturday could be an easy game for Leeds United.

Leeds fans know that will not be the case. The Welsh club offers a completely different threat to many other sides, with their height and physicality enough to challenge any team.

Leeds aren’t exactly the biggest side and have struggled against teams with added height – such as Charlton and Millwall.

Marcelo Bielsa will know that better than anybody, and Tuesday’s victory against Hull City proved that his defence are up for the task against physical sides, with Tom Eaves being kept generally quiet in the final third.

David Prutton has predicted that relatively new Cardiff manager, Neil Harris, would love nothing more than to win at Elland Road – claiming it will be at the top of the list on Saturday.

“Physically they will give them a tough game and knowing what Neil is like and what the motivation to beat Leeds will be like, that will be absolutely top of his list,” the Sky Sports pundit wrote in his Yorkshire Evening Post column.

“He will play the professional card because that is what he is like but he will want to make sure he makes his mark on his side.”

The potential return of Liam Cooper could be vital. His influence is massive at the back, and although Gaetano Berardi shined against Hull, there would be no arguments should he miss out against the Bluebirds.

Cooper has been phenomenal in the past couple of seasons. The Whites’ captain plays a pivotal role in our style, and of course, is much-more equipped to deal with the long ball.

Harris has a future of beating Leeds with his old Millwall side, both as a player and a manager, and we know he will arrive at Elland Road with that in his sights yet again on Saturday.
