Sky Sports pundit heaps praise on one Leeds player after 'relentless' display v Millwall
Danny Mills has been blown away by the relentless nature of Leeds United winger Jack Harrison this season.
The Sky Sports pundit sang the praises of the Manchester City loanee for his performance in the 3-2 win against Millwall.
Mills was particularly impressed with how Harrison never gave the opposition breathing space both on and off the ball at Elland Road.
Leeds had 10 days rest before the game on Tuesday night, and Mills admitted that the difference in fitness levels was clear to see in West Yorkshire.
"Their [Leeds’] fitness level looked maybe 25% more," he told Football Insider.
"I thought Jack Harrison was exceptional down that left-hand side. Some of the passing and movement, the slick one-touch passing, the constant pressure that they put Millwall under was just relentless.
"Winning the ball back high up the pitch, creating chances, feeding balls across the box – Bamford could have had a couple more."
Harrison could have scored a couple if it wasn't for some superb work in-between the sticks from Millwall stopper Bartosz Bialkowski.
Harrison has stepped up massively this season, with Phil Hay revealing Leeds can make his move permanent for only £8million in the summer, a fee that is looking more like a bargain each week.
The comparison between this season and last just highlights the massive improvement in his game under Marcelo Bielsa. He has already been involved in four more goals, as well as completing more shots, key passes, and double the number of dribbles in every outing [WhoScored].
Mills is spot on to praise Harrison, and we can't wait to see just how much more he can improve should he remain at Elland Road past this season.
