Raphinha camp believes Leeds United will further reduce valuation ahead of Arsenal talks

Raphinha’s representatives believe that Leeds United will not stick to their original asking rate this summer.

According to Goal Brasil, the Brazilian’s camp believes that while Leeds want £65million for the in-demand attacker, they will settle for £50million.

The Gunners are expected to accelerate their move for the 25-year-old with fresh talks planned this week.

Must not budge

There are a number of clubs vying for Raphinha’s services so it makes very little sense for Leeds to lower their valuation for him.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur can both as much if not more than what the Gunners can and even the player wouldn’t push for a move to the Emirates Stadium.

The other two clubs can offer him Champions League football – something he’s not going to get if he plays for Arsenal next season.

However, it seems that only they are the most interested in signing him, but Chelsea and Spurs lining up Raheem Sterling and Richarlison as alternatives.

Even if they do not pursue Raphinha, Leeds will surely have told him that he’ll leave for the right price, which is why even Barcelona have been turned down.

It will be interesting to see how talks transpire as the player’s preference has been the Camp Nou since he made up his mind to leave the Yorkshire-based club.

Hopefully, Leeds manage to get top dollar from his sale and then quickly reinvest it into signing a quality replacement before pre season begins.

In other Leeds United news, Fabrizio Romano has shared if a ‘Sensational’ defensive midfielder has agreed terms for an Elland Road switch and become the club’s fourth summer signing.
