‘PSR charges may still be on cards’ as Leeds United plot tricky £20m transfer – Expert
Leeds United are already putting plans in place for the January transfer window.
Despite Daniel Farke’s position being uncertain, Leeds were ready to offer £20million to sign Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid, initially on loan.
With PSR still remaining an issue for Leeds, it appears as though they will need to work smart to bring in new signings for their squad.
Leeds are currently out of the Premier League relegation zone, something which could push them into making more signings to keep that the case.

Dan Plumley believes that the January window will be tricky for all Premier League clubs, especially with PSR changing from next season.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, the football finance expert admitted that it is likely that the Whites target initial loans, rather than splashing the cash.
“We’re in a tricky period now with the regulations, given the Premier League news about moving to squad cost rather than PSR,” Plumley said.
“We haven’t seen any details about what will happen at the end of this reporting period with PSR and whether clubs may still be charged on those old regulations.
“There is a lot up in the air with that, and we don’t know the answers.

“If you look at the situation for Leeds, though, it is more likely that they look at options where you don’t splash loads of cash up front, and January is a tricky market anyway.
“A lot of the clubs making moves in that window are ones trying to get out of trouble, more often than not.
“I think that is backed up here, looking at loans with options to buy, but it really does depend where they are at in that time, cause that’s when you maybe end up spending more than anticipated.”

Will Daniel Farke be in charge of Leeds in January?
Leeds’ 3-1 win over Chelsea was huge for Farke, but it hasn’t guaranteed his job safety.
The 49ers are already looking at possible replacements for Farke, but the German will be fine if he keeps delivering wins like Wednesday night.
With a faltering Liverpool next up at Elland Road on Saturday, the new Leeds system, full of physical brutes, will be relishing taking on the champions.
Another win there, and Farke can start looking at his January transfer targets.
