Leeds United now want to sign both Che Adams and Julian Quinones as they plot a double attacking transfer blitz, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper has reported on its website that the Whites want the Southampton and Atlas forwards as they look to strengthen their depth in the final third.

It is shared that talks will be held inside the club within the next 17 hours over the next moves ahead of the new Premier League season this weekend.

Leeds want more firepower in their squad before kicking that first ball of the season against Wolves on Saturday afternoon [06 August].

That is despite smashing their final pre-season opponents, Cagliari, 6-2 on Sunday evening [31 July] with a hat-trick from Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford scoring two.

After another behind-closed-doors friendly the day before though, the bench was looking very light, and Jesse Marsch will want that to be much different against Wolves.

Smart.

This would be a brilliant double move.

Adams in a central striker and would create that depth there, but with Quinones, he can play through the middle and out wide in this system, so he would offer great versatility.

With doubts surrounding Luis Sinisterra for the opening day and Dan James being suspended, having that extra man in the wide areas would be perfect.

It shouldn’t take much to bring the Colombian to Elland Road either, making him a low-risk addition who would surely rather play in the Premier League over Mexican football.

Whether or not Leeds can actually get these deals done before the season opener in five days, remains unknown, but they have until the first day of September to get them done.

All eyes will on these two alongside a new left-back, but if those three deals get done, this squad will be in a much better squad moving forward.

Get it done.
