Sky Sports: Leeds 26y/o set for free transfer exit

There is no way that Leeds United can have a repeat of last January this month.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men will suffer if Victor Orta and Andrea Radrizzani cannot provide suitable new signings during the winter marker at Elland Road.

It appears as though the first deals the Whites may complete are outgoings from West Yorkshire based on recent updates.

Sky Sports have reported on their Transfer Centre blog [11/01, 21:25 pm] that whilst Laurens De Bock is on his way to ADO Den Haag on loan this month, Pawel Cibicki is set to return to Elland Road at the same time.

It is suggested that the 26-year-old will seal a permanent exit from West Yorkshire and move to Polish side Pogon Szczecin on a free, with his current deal set to run out at the end of this campaign.

It is no surprise to see the Swede closing in on an exit, as he never really hit the ground running since arriving into the Championship.

So, with De Bock and Cibicki looking like their deals have been all but confirmed, Orta can now get busy to make sure there are some incomings this month.

Saturday’s defeat against Sheffield Wednesday proved that Leeds need fresh faces. It has been reported the Whites want three new players this month, and they are definitely needed at this moment in time.
