Leeds United reportedly have four or five players they are looking at in order to replace Kalvin Phillips this summer.

According to journalist Dean Jones, RB Leipzig's Tyler Adams is one of the names on the shortlist, but there are a handful of others along with him on it.

Phillips is set to join Manchester City and the Whites are actively in the hunt looking for a suitable replacement.

Jones told Give Me Sport, "Ultimately, there is that position that needs filling, and they’ve got four or five possible names is what I’m told at the moment for who fills it, and Tyler Adams is just one of those.”

Decide soon?

Victor Orta has been travelling all across Europe in the last few days and we can only hope that it's to finalise the next few signings for the Whites.

If there are five players Leeds are considering, surely talks need to be held with them to see who the best fit is and what their expectations from the club are.

Seeing that players like Phillips and Raphinha will soon be off the payroll and for hefty fees, players and clubs can demand higher wages/valuations this summer.

Orta's expertise will count for a lot here and he's got to ensure that Leeds do not overpay for any player whether it is their wages or their transfer fees.

If Adams is the man they've decided to pursue then they must discuss how much Leipzig want for his services and start the negotiation process immediately.
