Leeds United confirmed on Friday that young defender Nohan Kenneh had signed his first professional contract with the club.
It topped off a fantastic week for the impressive 17-year-old, who has claimed a victory for both the under-18s and under-23s in the space of fewer than seven days.
Kenneh has enjoyed a great year, being called up to play for England as well as continuing to impress in all age groups at Thorp Arch.
The likes of Carlos Corberan will have had a big say on the future of Kenneh, and the Spaniard has clearly been impressed.
Alongside Jack Jenkins and Charlie Cresswell, the defender is one player who consistently features for the under-23s despite being considerably younger.
Former Leeds defender and now player agent, Ian Harte commented on the deal as it was announced, claiming he was happy to be involved.
“Glad to help,” he wrote on his personal Instagram account.
Harte has helped a number of current and former Leeds players, including Tyler Denton and more recently Jack Clarke during his time as an agent.
This deal is even more impressive for the Whites when you take into consideration that it was only six months ago when Paris Saint-Germain were reported to be taking an interest in the defender.
Kenneh will now look to establish himself in the under-23s squad before mounting a serious push to become a regular feature in the first-team under Marcelo Bielsa.
