'Good place to go' - Reading defender shares what Mark Bowen has told squad ahead of Leeds clash

Reading defender Andy Yiadom has admitted that Elland Road is the perfect place for the Royals to travel to when they take on Leeds United on Saturday.

The Ghanian full-back, previously of Barnsley shared that Mark Bowen has warned his side of how the Whites will look to immediately put pressure on the away side.

Yiadom insisted that his teammates will be prepared for that, and will look to stick to their gameplan from the very first minute.

Yiadom claimed that the Royals have their gameplan in place and are ready to cause an upset in West Yorkshire against the Whites.

“They’re a great side,” he told the official club website.

“Elland Road will be a good place to go, especially with their fans. But we want to go there and cause an upset. We’ll go there with confidence, we’ll have a gameplan – we’ll want to stick to that and see what we can do.

“The manager has told us how they play and how they like to come out of the traps and we want to be prepared for that.”

Reading’s latest viewing of the Whites under Marcelo Bielsa will have surely set the nerves flowing ahead of the clash. Leeds were phenomenal in their latest victory against Bristol City.

Looking at the attacking momentum graph from Sofa Score, the away side didn’t really enjoy any period of success at Elland Road, and Reading will need to be at their best to avoid the same outcome.

Leeds also had 17 more shots on goal as well as completing nearly triple the number of successful passes [WhoScored]. You can plan all you want, but when Bielsa’s men are in that form, they are near impossible to stop.
