Exclusive: Andreas Schjelderup could be next at Leeds after events this week
Andreas Schjelderup has attracted interest from Leeds United, MOT Leeds News understands.

A return for Manor Solomon has been mooted, and while it wouldn’t be a bad addition for the Whites, they have set their sights higher.
Schjelderup burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old at Nordsjaelland before his move to Benfica, and a switch to Elland Road could be on the cards this summer.
Leeds scouts watch Schjelderup vs Nice
Schjelderup has not quite acclimatised to life in Portugal since his move in 2023, though he did register nine goal contributions across all competitions last season.
The Norwegian started Benfica’s Champions League qualifier against Nice, and MOT Leeds News understands that Leeds had staff in attendance at the Allianz Riviera to monitor his performance ahead of a potential swoop.

The Whites have several targets to address their concerns on the left wing, but Schjelderup is said to be high up on that list, and his display against the Ligue 1 outfit impressed those in attendance.

How did Schjelderup perform vs Nice?
Overall, Leeds‘ scouts will have taken plenty away from his performance, despite his inability to register a goal contribution.
The Portuguese giants secured a 2-0 away victory, and the Norwegian certainly played his part.

He won four of his five defensive ground duels, showcasing his willingness to put the work in off the ball.
