Danny Pugh: This one development could make Leeds a 'top-bracket' club
Danny Pugh has claimed that added investment from QSI could transform Leeds United into a ‘top-bracket’ club.
It was recently revealed that talks were progressing behind the scenes, and that there has become real potential of a takeover happening in West Yorkshire.
When asked what a takeover would do to his former club, Pugh was adamant it could take the Whites to another level.
“I think it’s difficult to strike that balance isn’t it when one of these big owners come in,” Pugh told Football FanCast.
“You want to try and keep the core of the club and that kind of thing and what makes them what they are. But, I think with the way football is going at the moment if you want to keep up with the big boys you need this kind of investment in.
“There’s that much money in the Premier League, there’s that much money made, there’s that much money spent, and I think if you want to be in that top, top bracket of clubs, which I think Leeds can be, you need that kind of backing.”

Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross recently suggested that there could be nothing actually happening with QSI – something that would massively disappoint fans in West Yorkshire.
Andrea Radrizzani has been forward with his thoughts on his stake in the club and has previously admitted that he might not be able to stay in charge at Elland Road for much longer without promotion to the Premier League.
