Angus Kinnear confirms Marcelo Bielsa-Leeds deal agreed
Angus Kinnear has confirmed that Marcelo Bielsa has agreed terms with Leeds United to extend his deal.
El Loco passed his third year at Elland Road this week and has signed 12-month contracts each season.
Kinnear admitted that while pen hasn't been put to paper by Bielsa, it has been verbally agreed that he will be in charge next season.
Speaking to the BBC after the fixture release on Wednesday, Kinnear shared the update that will leave every Leeds fan dancing.
"He's certainly very much with Leeds United for next season," he said.
"I have no doubt as to his commitment and as normal with Marcelo, putting pen to paper is an irrelevance.
"We agreed the terms several weeks ago, several months ago perhaps. It's really emotionally and psychologically where he is."
Gentleman.
Once Bielsa agrees to something, there is no going back on that.
It is very clear that El Loco's word goes very far, and he isn't interested in contracts, money and all the attention that comes with it.
Bielsa is concentrating on one thing, and that is the football.
With Manchester United away on the first day of the campaign, all eyes will already be on that at Thorp Arch, with pre-season only two weeks away.
Victor Orta, Kinnear and Andrea Radrizzani will be looking at transfers and strengthening the team, with all the confidence in the world.
Bielsa is here to stay, and his agreement means that there are no worries in the world that he will be here, and who knows? Taking us to European football.
