Adidas plan to release Leeds United home kit on Wednesday

Adidas are preparing to announce the new Leeds United home-kit online this week.

The Australian version of their website has produced a holding page to purchase the new strip and revealed it may come out on Wednesday.

With just under five weeks until the season kicks off, the Whites are likely to wear the strip in the opener at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Adidas released a description of the home kit online, and have really started to build up the anticipation.

“A moisture-absorbing jersey bathed in their iconic home colours,” they wrote.

“Pure Leeds United. When Adidas designed this home football jersey, we went for clean and classic. Yellow and blue details taken from the club’s badge include a club name signoff under the back collar.

“The soft, textured fabric joins forces with moisture-absorbing AERO READY to ensure a comfortable wear whenever you feel like showing off your colours.”

Tension.

Looking at the leaked images online, there has been a negative reaction, to say the least from the fanbase.

The stripes are now supposedly yellow, and the sponsor also has the same colour on it after it was all blue last season.

One thing we all know is that the more simple, the better with the home strip, keeping it all white with some subtle second colour usually works.

One Leeds Fan Channel shared the leaked image on their Twitter account, and the colours just don’t seem to match.

We are less than 48 hours away from the kit being released by the looks of it, and all the waiting will be over.

Hopefully, it will look better in person, and these leaked images can become a thing of the past at Elland Road; time will tell.
